The Killers’ Brandon Flowers Covers Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irresistible”

unnamedThe Killers’ lead singer Brandon Flowers is out with a new solo LP entitled The Desired Effect, and he previewed some of the tracks in Vegas, his hometown, and at Webster Hall in New York last week. He did a badass cover of the late Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irrestible” at both shows, and like Palmer, he looked damn good doing it.  If you don’t remember the song, you might at least remember its famous video. I keep meaning to dress as one of the girls for Halloween. Maybe this is the year! Anyway, check it out all below and scroll down for Flowers’ original tune “Can’t Deny My Love” below. Tour dates below as well.

Shortly after finishing touring for Hot Fuss, the Killers headed back into the studio to start recording their highly anticipated second studio album with producers Alan Moulder and Flood , who were working together for the first time in a decade.
