Neil Young & Crazy Horse – Tour and A New Music Video

Neil Young & Crazy Horse have released the new music video for “Twisted Road” off their upcoming album of all new tunes, Psychedelic Pill, out on October 30th (available for preorder here: Nostalgic in tone, the video shows a younger America and features vintage clips of Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and the Grateful Dead. Describing hearing Bob Dylan singing “Like A Rolling Stone”, Young also pays homage to Hank Williams, of whom he was a fan: Poetry rollin’ off his tongue / Like Hank Williams chewing bubblegum. He also repeats the line let the good times roll (presumably from Sam Cooke’s often-covered song “Let the Good Times Roll”). The song is one big nostalgic tribute to his contemporaries and artists who influenced him, and it’s fun to go back in time with him and Crazy Horse.
